My friends Aaron and Nikiah celebrated their one year anniversary yesterday and we decided to go back to their wedding site to take a few pictures. As a wedding photographer, I love taking photos of friends and family and since photography is my biggest passion, I love doing it.

These two tied the knot last summer near Spring Point Marina in South Portland, Maine. As a guest at their wedding, I vividly remember their vows because they were some of the purest vows I had ever heard. They both used the word RAW to describe their love for one another and it was completely coincidental. To say that great minds think alike is an understatement.

So here’s to celebrating these two in all of their RAWness. They are unapologetically real and some of the sweetest, most grateful people I have ever met. 

Nikiah & Aaron – I love you guys and I’m so excited that you’re one year into a lifelong journey of adventure, love, and travel. I can’t wait to travel with you two some day and share in your adventures.
